What to propose

We are interested in specific, evergreen ideas about rooms, materials, household objects, seasonal care and home customs. A strong proposal names its central question, explains what readers will understand or be able to consider, and shows why the subject merits its own piece.

A useful pitch

Send a concise outline, the proposed angle and a short note on relevant experience or perspective. Keep claims proportionate, avoid recycled advice and tell us whether the idea relies on personal experience, outside sources or specialist input. We do not accept invented facts or unsupported claims.
